Texas Style Smokey Brisket
2 cups Figaro Liquid Smoke (either Hickory or Mesquite)
10 lb. Beef Brisket
For more tender brisket, pierce both sides in several places with a kitchen fork. Place brisket in a roasting pan and baste with 2 cups of Figaro Liquid Smoke. Cover brisket and pan with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 8 hours, turning brisket several times to absorb the marinade. Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Discard excess marinade and place a rack under the brisket. Roast approximately 1 hour per pound or until tender. Let rest at room temperature for ½ hour before slicing. Serve with Crystal Ultimate BBQ Baste.
